updating to Lucid. With Karmic it worked fine. Last time upgraded to
latest Lucid on Friday.

There are some packages grabbed as a netbook-launcher recommends for the
fallback to the 2D launcher.
User can also now runs directly in lucid the 2D launcher, choosing the session
in GDM.
Please tell me if the 2D fallback works on this case. Putting the bug
report as Incomplete in the
I guess this is not related, but, just in case, I would like to add that
nvidia settings always reports the laptop as being on battery even if on
AC power and even if the battery is absent.

pm-tools now do not apply any video quirks for nvidia cards, but it looks
like one is needed
for this notebook:
