adventurous at the time than Alt-Tabbing between windows, but it was

When I first installed Natty I got this error message on every boot up,
however the machine did not totally lock up. When I installed the
updates the next day, it booted normally without error messages and has
had no problems since. It looks like something in the updates fixed the
problem.
This has never happened in Maverick, or any other Ubuntu release before
that (since 8.04 on this same box), only in Natty, and at least twice (the
second time is the one I have filed the bug)

nvidia-current wfm, but only after a reboot. Logout alone doesn't work (it
returns to a console, instead of to gdm), and gdm isn't restartable. The logs
show the kernel complaining about mismatching API, but unity didn't ask for a

I have rebooted the eee pc 5 times now and the login worked every time.

environment from Gnome to LXDE with no 3D effect. It's confirmed the

thinkpad t400 keys hang randomly
My eeepc is running ok after installing the backport from the fig ppa. I
used the system for several hours last night in google chrome and again
this morning. Previously the bug could take all day to show up.
Scrolling is a little laggy. However this evening I am seeing slight
font corruption in
I am currently on a new w520 with Ubuntu 11.04 beta (Linux
2.6.38-8-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Mon Apr 11 03:31:24 UTC 2011 x86_64
x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux) with nvidia driver 270.41.03 with the 1000M
(BIOS set to use just the nvidia card, optimus disabled) and can confirm
similar issues with setting
The system has just displayed the error message, it didn't lock up. I haven't
experienced this bug in Maverick.
Also, the S-video output was simply black screen, though the desktop got wider
in Compiz (see bug #763688). I haven't tried to reproduce it yet but I will do
it ASAP.

Medium was the worst. Barely any drop in temperature, and the performance drops
down considerably.
Surprisingly, ATI manages to pull it off, despite being known for crappy
drivers. I get good battery life as well as good graphics performance.
