indication that it is going to log off. The screen goes black, and after

I've been using SNA for a couple of weeks now, and it doesn't seem to
suffer from this particular bug.
The bug still occurs in the latest xf86-video-intel driver from git (as
of 27/9/12), though. It generally occurs when focus changes, eg when a
menu or popup window is opening.

I don't think it's particularly useful to fix this; there can be, and
are, arbitrary differences between the free libglx and the proprietary
drivers' libglxes, any one of which could cause a mismatched client to
crash.
I don't think this is common enough to invest resources in to fix.
