I am running Windows on that Samsung Machine now, as AMD graphics integration
was a constant problem.
Unfortunately I currently also lack the time for setting up a testbed to test
the current development image.

Screen stays black after suspend/resume

When a GPU stall is occuring, screen contents are not actualized in a
timely manner anymore. Intermittent actualizations occurr around 10 to
20 seconds. System must be reset to resolve the issue.
Following log line is seen, when issue occurs:

I use HDD encryption, hence I am given a passphrase prompt at the
beginning of the boot process. Every second bootup the screen remains
black when the ubuntu splash is expected.
When this happens, it results in me having to reset the laptop. This in
