tests so far but I think this was the deal. I
have also yet to evaluate the overall impact of this setting on the
performance of the Gig nic.
If I have time, I might go ahead and implement the whole copy from CD
idea anyway as a good backup.
Cheers,
Scott

There are a bunch of good Perl modules for dealing with ini files. You
might look at them (CPAN), not that you have to actually use them, but
their source might help. Too bad that you have to write an ini parser
when so many already exist in perl.

Hi Scott!
I just want to ask you something short.
I haven't updated to version to 2.7 yet, because that will generate a lot of extra
work for me and why change something
I get a lot of these errors as well. It doesn't have anything to do
with an incorrect setup, as mine works most of the time just fine. It
is very random, although it usually seems to show up on slow hardware
and/or networks.

Scott

Yeah, I have it all working but it is a bad hack. Not really the way it
should be done, and not very flexible. It goes something like this in
install.pl:
# Top-level installation script
my $top
How about some examples of how people are using csv.pl to lookup product
keys? From where and how is it being implemented (site\config.pl)? Any
ideas for functionality to run a command (or set of commands) at the
very end, just before turning autologon off?
Working on synching with v3.1
I am interested in seeing the examples of code to query and match asset
tag/mac with a key source. I believe it might also be possible to get
the asset tag programmatically from the bios (at least on dell
machines).

Scott

This is a long known problem. To my knowledge there isn't a solution except to use a
dos boot disk. Let us know if you discover something new. It is most likely a bug
with how dosemu works with the virtualized hardware.

all of the append options should be on the line with append like this with spaces
between the key, value pairs:
append initrd=initrd z_path=\\servername1\share z_user=username z_pass=password
