On another note, the “crocodile shot by police” () example in UTS #51 appears with a water gun glyph (taken from Apple) now. If the pistol is to be gotten rid of, would it not be more sensible to stop supporting the emoji rather than to corrupt its meaning? NTT DOCOMO apparently did not
