I think I lean towards Anthony's side. I'd have to check what we set ours to,
but we aim to have requests served under 5sec. Long running requests are
outside the norm. I would think the default could be low and if a portlet is
known to need more, it could be changed accordingly.

attended the recent Apereo conference in San Diego will likely attest that
there is a lot of great energy in the uPortal community. The

In case you did not see the recent emails regarding the March Jasig
conference call for proposals, I am sending it to these lists as well.
We have some great keynote speakers lined up and a number of good
session proposals have come in. We still have room for more and we have
extended
Focusing on the First Generation, here are a few thoughts:
- Perhaps we could add a review step where they see exactly what information
will be posted when they hit submit.
- We need to come up with some statement (terms of use? privacy?) on the web
site that states what we do with this

application for participation in the Google Summer of Code
(http://socghop.appspot.com/). We are collecting good ideas for for projects
that could be undertaken by a student developer over the course of the summer.
