There are still a bunch of features that aren't supported in the ajax preferences UI - in particular, all the admin stuff that lets you set channels to be immovable, etc. > I can create new tabs using the "Add tab" on the "Customize My Portal" > section, however, they all have the same name as "New Tab". One thing that might be causing confusion is that there are now two input boxes for the tab name, and it's not really very clear what each is supposed to do. From looking at the fields' names, it looks like the first controls the tab name, and the second allows it to be targeted by name. Maybe we should label these fields a little better? > - > - There is an icon on the right side for "Add this portlet to my > layout", but nothing was added to my layout after choosing a page in which > to add this portlet to. > > This is actually a feature of the theme, not of the preferences channel. It generally works, but seems not to work for the preferences channel specifically. Looking at the stack trace, it appears that the code fails because the preferences channel isn't actually in the channel registry XML document. > > - > - The "Choose A skin" page is all messed up. > > I had thought this was fixed as of revision 43420, although I just fixed it for the alternate skin.
