Not sure if this is expected behavior or not, so I figured I'd post here first.

I've noticed that on the latest trunk, when I stop tomcat the local
hsqldb is shutdown cleanly (started using the 'hsql' ant target from a
terminal).
Is this expected behavior? I recall previous snapshots of uPortal
leaving hsqldb running after tomcat is shutdown.
I suspect the shutdown is the result of some destruction method being
invoked by Spring as the applicationContext shuts down; maybe it's
hibernate or Commons DBCP.

Any thoughts, or should I open this in JIRA?
