What version of OSX are you running? If you upgraded to Leopard from Tiger, there are a few issues with the new Apache file paths.. easy to fix, but you need to know which things to do. For a quick test, why not do a very, very easy install of MAMP (Mac Apache MySql Php) that downloads as an app,

Ha! The 'cut' command kills the selectedField. If I look at the selectedField before the cut, it does give the field ID. Similarly, I suspect that if I do a paste, there won't be anything in the selectedField until AFTER the paste is done (there certainly isn't beforehand). None of this is

One other thing...LayerTools also allows you to edit the properties of any selected control, or select any control and edit it's properties by just alt-clicking (option-clicking for Macs) on the control in the list. This is very handy when trying to edit properties of a group inside a group.
