say, can you tell me which barcode reader you've tried this with?
Sure, its a Datalogic Gryphon. Any reader which uses a Y cable to connect
should work however.
The only problem I can see with this method is that you have to ensure that
the window in which your data is going to be entered
The Linux font problem appears to be with Debian only. I took Fedora off my
laptop, where all the Fedora fonts were usable, and put Etch 32 bit on
instead, at which point once again only two (bitstream charter and courier 10
pitch) work correctly, as posted earlier.

I confess to being baffled by the following. Installed RR on my old Fedora
Core 6 P3 laptop. The fonts work fine. But FC6 surely uses the most recent
version of Xorg etc? So in that case, how come it works, if the explanation
for its not working on Debian etch is that RR is using some old
I can only report what actually happens. Are we doing the same thing? I am
running 2.6.1 IDE and engine on Linux - specifically on AMD64, Etch. I can't
test compiling a stack on another platform, but with Linux as the target, not

Yes, there is something odd about the font list as revealed by put. Which is
the same incidentally as the font list offered by the
Well, based on the mentions here I popped over to Amazon and had a copy
shipped over.
Don't hold your breath for this to do any good for Revolution. Or
Programming. Or even Computing. What we have is a series of topics, with
the most sketchy illustrations imaginable, for each of the

How does Revolution pick which fonts it uses for the user interface and how
does one change them?
For example, if I look at the reference documentation - dictionary, it is
displaying on my screen with font size 6 or so. Maybe less. Just about
readable with an effort, but needs reading
