What constitutes an update and an upgrade?
I'm a little confused now and finding myself getting a little upset
here. I thought an upgrade was like from version 1.x to 2.x and
updates were like 1.1 through 1.9 etc.
I bought Rev 2.6.1 and now it's 2.7 and if I read correctly,

As far as I can tell, this is not true unless one has an 'update pack'.
Only Fractional (.x) updates are free.
You get to use it with your current license if your license is less
than a year old.
