There is progress on the Gradle debian package :). They are looking for

Today Damien Raude-Morvan uploaded the Gradle package that I prepared to the
Debian archive. http://ftp-master.debian.org/new/gradle_0.9.1-1.html

It should be available soon. If somebody is interested in test it on Debian
or Ubuntu, just let me know.
