Has something changed in the current trunk with regard to visual themes?
Firstly using Win7 pro\IE9 and Smooth Feather, the preferance and business
applications drop down will not close and it is impossible to change themes.
Then when I opened FF, there are only three themes available. Bluelight,
Very strange Jaques. Both problems are now resolved.

Thanks Hans Sascha. We'll take a look at the ofbiz blog and see if that
will work for us. Cheers.

Sascha, sorry to revive such an old post but we were just looking for a
similar option and we also found Roller. It does look like it would
accomplish everything we need. Did you have any success with it? Cheers.

I'd love to see the accounting tightened up a bit and put into a more user
friendly approach. While I am not a great fan of the closed source
QuickBooks, it does make it very easy to navigate and get things done.

Hi All,
I was just thinking out loud and I thought I’d post it to the community and
see what you guys thought.
Has the community ever considered and App Store type of approach to
customizations? What I mean by this is taking pieces\modules that you’ve
developed but not given back to the core
One problem I see BJ is that unless you are a technical user or developer,
how on earth would you know about them or what they do? Pur them in the seed
data on the demo and sell them!

Tim,
I would think that it would have to go through testing to be compatible to
each release and I'm not saying that it would have to be 100%. The releases
are not but if the committer was not willing to test on a periodic basis,
then it should be removed. I guess the question you are really

David,
This idea is of great interest to me and would mean a lot for my business.
I'm running QB enterprise and a home grown system at the moment but we have
a lot of double entry, etc and I'm hoping that QB will eventually take over
my entire business from accounting to ecommerce. That said, I
BJ, the point I was trying to make is that David's idea would allow me to
dump QB all together. No worries about import/export\double entry. OfBiz
would be a single solution for me. Short term it costs more but l;ong term
adds value to my business.

I went back in to the product store and reverified. This time I noticed that
someone had changed the thru date in the price rules to 2010-03-02
03:29:01.879 so I moved it our to 2010-04-03 04:17:53.000 but ended up with
the same result. I hope I'm not missing something basic here.

Hi David et al,
I know back in late October you had posted about the idea of EZBiz and at
the time, there appeared to be a great deal of enthusiasm. I was just
wondering if anything ever came of it or if you have just had bigger fish to
fry in the mean time?
Thanks in advance.
