I haven't fully looked into it yet myself, but I'm told that OFBiz does
not have exchange functionality. However, my understanding is that you
can do replacements. I will look into it in the meantime, but if OFBiz

Consider this scenario: Customer returns his purchased item because it was
defective. Store does not have the same item available so they offered the
customer to exchange his item with a higher value but with additional fee
