Hi Aidan, Yes, Blender's feature set is impressive and people have made large animations with it: Sintel, Elephant's Dream etc.. My main problem is its interface, I can never find stuff... I want to expand my toolkit and use it next to RS in the pipeline, it's not this-is-better-than-that.

Hi Arjo, Yes, the new Plant tool is really addictive, I spent whole evenings fiddling with parameters! Has to be one of the most advanced plant generating tools around. They are memory-hungry but by careful tuning I managed to generate and render pretty complex trees on a 2.5 GB 32bit system.
