any solutions how to debug uml while it is booting?
I can trace it to process.c:start_userspace and a call to clone. After
that, I can't do anything, until I send HUP from another console,
which is a bit slow.
Any suggestions?

Hi all,
I've applied patches from uml site to 2.6.15.6, but I can't force it
to run using root as hostfs.
this is what I get:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/src/um-stable# ./linux root=/dev/root rootflags=/
rootfstype=hostfs noinitrd init=/initrd
Checking that ptrace can change system call numbers...OK
