It's not quite perfect yet... there are some small images on
the left that show up and cause the print to shift across... the
Cocoon header bar could also be removed (and possibly
substituted with something a little simpler and more
appropriate for print...)

I meant it as a positive thing: when printing, the left navigation area
isn't printed, so the pages are quite printable.

Simply use the print or print preview function of your browser: you
should see the left menu is removed, which usually is the biggest
annoyance when printing. This is done using
