Hi,
I updated my system to the latest release version. The uname says:
3.0-RELEASE DragonFly v3.0.3.1.g2c987-RELEASE.
I guess it is not related to the kernel version, but I'm getting these
messages on the console. I didn't see them before.

Hello, all
i have encountered a bit unexpected and counter-intuitive behaviour of ln
and wonder if it is OK:
to require _write_ permission on the _source_ file while creating a
hardlink to.
here is a shell session:
$ ls -l

Hello, all
I wonder if it is OK for a hammer to make hardlinks on directories?
Does it legally support such a pervesion properly?
Are there any strings attached?
Is it safe for now and later on?

throwing a proper error message.

The disk controller is supported:

I'm pretty sure the rest of the equipment on either machine (network
card, etc.) will work. The only way to find out for sure at this
point is to buy it and try it.
