This DB has been running in LibO 3.4 . . . but I'm wondering if they
changed the version of HSQLDB LibO uses in 3.6 to the new version. Could

HOWEVER . . . Calc is also broken in 3.5, in that you cannot filter any
data from external sources, so it makes it virtually impossible to run
reports in Calc in 3.5.

converting over to that model.
I have heard that H2 DB is actually a bit better for this purpose and
that it's not tremendously difficult to convert over to H2 from
hypersql, but I haven't had the guts to try it yet.
