Hi!  So, I need to create a spreadsheet with a column of drop-down values.  I found how to do that using the "Data > Validity" menu option.  I created a drop-down menu column and it works fine.    Of course, I need to export this as an Excel file and I found Excel handles drop-down menus differently.  *sigh*

So, I was able to define the drop-down menu in Calc using the Excel approach and it works fine (albeit ugly).

My question: has anyone had any experience with exporting spreadsheets with drop-down menus in a column to Excel format? Did it work?  Was it problematic?
