[libreoffice-users] LO color palette web page online

2017-02-11 Thread Tim---Kracked_P_P---webmaster

For all those people who help me over the years with finding various
color code options, I thank you.

Here is a start for my Color Palette Project.

http://libreoffice-na.us/holding/index.html

I decided to create a "simple" web page for my holding folder. One that
page, there are some various PDF files and the SOC files I have created.

Currently, I have 4 files shown on the page

Grays.soc, NTC.soc, Resene.soc, and Shading-pan.soc

Over the next few months I hope to create even more specific palette
files. So, here is a starting point.

Paolo, you can add your email address to the bug CC list (top right of bug
report) and you will get an email whenever someone makes a comment on the
bug. That makes it easy to follow the bug and give additional data or
testing as needed. BH

Re: [libreoffice-users] How to automatically save new documents in MS Word *.doc file format?

2017-02-11 Thread Regina Henschel

Hi Ben,

Ben Stover schrieb:

Yes, I know, the default file format for LOwriter is *.odt.

But is there a way to define the MS office *.doc format as default save format?

I don't want to be asked every time again or switch manually an option.
It should be *.doc!

How can I adjust LO accordingly?

Find the settings in menu Tools > Options, section Load/Save > General.

Kind regards
Regina

Re: [libreoffice-users] How to setup Drag & Drop of *.doc files onto LO window as OPEN document and NOT as INSERT or EMBED operation?

2017-02-11 Thread Regina Henschel

Hi Ben,

do not drag it to the working area, but drag it on to the title bar.

Kind regards
Regina

Hi,

assume I started LO Writer and have currently a blank sheet.

Now I drag & drop from Windows Explorer (under Win 7) an *.doc file onto the
open LO window.

Instead opening this document LO see this as an insert/enbed instruction.
This was NOT my intention.

How do I setup LO so that LO automatically openes drag & dropped external *.doc
(or *.odt) files as own documents?

Ben
