In newer versions of LO Calc, you can go to menu View > "Hidden
Row/Column Indicator"

I apologize. That is a different setting that has nothing to do with
your question. The relevant options is:

menu View > "Column/Row Highlighting"

My apologies again for the previous incorrect info.

Have a nice day,
Ady.

[libreoffice-users] Changing the color of the selected cell in calc

2024-05-06 Thread Thane K. Sherrington

Hi all,
Is there a way to change the colour of the selected cell in calc to
make it easier to see which sell is selected?  Even if the outline of
the cell can be made darker.  I'm on Windows 10.

Hi Thane,

No chance with LibreOffice. You will need Java script, which should be
executed.

Use Scribus instead. Also OpenSource and could create such a form by
default.

[libreoffice-users] Creating forms with math

2024-03-13 Thread Thane K. Sherrington
Is there a way to generate a PDF fillable form that will do basic math?
I'm looking to build a form that will allow me to fill in: Item, Price,
Number and have it generate a total.  I know I can do this with a
spreadsheet, but I was hoping for a PDF version.

Will LibreOffice continue to support Windows 7 after MS ends support for
it on January 2020?  If so, how long is the planned support going to
continue?
