I'm using FreeBSD with kame IPsec for a VPN installation for video
conferencing in medicine. First thing I like to say is a big thank
you for all this excellent work that the KAME people have been doing.
thanks!
Now I have a little question: what is the isakmpd that exists in
OpenBSD
and read

Would'nt it be useful to have dinamical alocation of translation addresses in NAPT
(Microsoft)? Then LAN's that don't need to be entirely connected to the IPv4 world
would only have some IPv4 global addresses for translation and so save a lot of money.
Thanks

OK, sorry for my stupid question. :-)
Someone had rebooted my machine and run
an old kernel version without IPv6 support.
I did not realize of this.
PS: Actually I asked this to know if you are
reading this list... :-)
Sorry and thanks!

load the kernel module 'insmod
Because I am not sure all *bsd have same method to hook a ip packet.
Do all *bsd have ipfw in this case ? I know IPFilter is implemented
to FreeBSD, NetBSD and OpenBSD. But it cannot handle a ipv6 packet
accurately.
the code path is different between *BSD - yes, painful for us kame
