Hi List
I'm having a problem using store-file.
When a message is not successfully sent it is kept in the store-file and
that's good, but kannel doesn't try to send it again unless I restart
kannel.
Isn't that a bug?
Jacob Vennervald
Yes, I've also experienced this.
It only happens when using AT2.
I just execute the start-stop-daemon three times and it stops.

Hi All
Has anybody been using wavecom modems and AT2 as SMSC under high loads
both for sending and receiving?
I'm having trouble making it work correctly.
If I'm only sending a lot of messages it works perfectly but if the
receivers of these messages start replying to the messages they get it
Hi All
Does anybody know of a more stable modem than Wavecom?
As I wrote earlier I'm having huge problems when handling both incomming
and outgoing through same modems.
Jacob
Hi Thomas
I would adivce you to use 1.1.6 and not 1.0.3.
1.0.3 is not as stable as the name indicates ;o)
And CMG is very well tested with 1.1.6.
Answers to your questions if you use 1.1.6:
1.Yes
2.Yes. Hexadecimal.

Hi All
If I set up kannel with two GSM modems will it automatically do round

Jacob Vennervald
Thanks, but I can't find anything about this in the online docs.
Could you tell me where to look?

Yes, it should be possible.
Just use falcom as device in your configuration file like this
group = smsc
smsc = at
modemtype = falcom
device = /dev/ttyS0
pin = 2345

Hi
The reason for this error occuring is that your global sender is text
based.
When the global sender is text based the maximum length of the sender is
11 characters and you have 12.
If the global sender is numeric the max length is 16 digits.
