Try to set the header parameter
X-WAP-Application-ID
to the value
x-wap-application:*
in the http request to the PPG.
I had a similar problem with
Nokia7650, which didn't crash,
but simply showed a 'scrambled'
SMS.

Sorry, no, because I don't use the test_ppg application
to send the WapPush messages to the Kannel PPG.

Still the same :((. My Nokia3410 is crashing while
sending WAP Push using test_ppg with -a any option.
I will ask about coding from XML (SI and PAP)
into encoded binary format for sending via SMSC.
