I've been investigating a problem with delivery reports, when I submit
the message to the SMSC I get a hex encoded timestamp, but when the DLR
comes I get the hex encoded timestamp, but with zeropadding, i.e.
submit: ts=3eb4585
dlr response: ts=0003eb4585
which results in that Kannel

I have installed kanel version kannel-1.4.1-2.el3
On redhat rhel3
I can start it fine with the /etc/rc.d/init.d/kannel start
The kannel.conf is in the /etc directory.
I do not see a gw directory nor do I see a wapbox.conf file nor do I see a
smskannel.conf file or wapkannel.conf

I would like to know which mobile phones are the best to send SMS, WAP
pushes and OTA messages via kannel.
I tried using the Sony Ericsson T610 but the modem was not recognized
even with all the modems available in the modems.conf
Do you know if the Nokia 6021 can do all of this ?
Hi Stuart,
there is issue on SMSC you connected to. Kannel in suspended mode sends
SMPP_ESME_RX_T_APPN (temporarely NACK) to SMSC and it should retry later.
Here could be two possibilities why it doesn't work:
1) bug in SMSC because it doesn't retry
2) all your MOs marked as single shot. So the
