To another modem? Just kidding.
Honestly, if you can't see it through minicom, there is no chance that kannel
will see it. If you are getting no response from minicom, it could mean 2
things:
1) You are talking to the wrong port. Check dmesg again. USB modems ussually
map to more than one
Hi
You can use vwdial config option to have it search for the modem
use
# wvdialconf wvdial.conf
It will scan all available ports and try to fecth a basic config. With
the info gathered, you can test a manual connection with minicom and
if it works go and configure kannel.

You need to identify your botleneck first. Other wise, you can set all
paralel connections you want or your provider allows you but if the
problem is not there it wont help.

Hi guys,
what is the purpose of concatenation parameter in sms-service group?
group = sms-service
#keyword = default
keyword-regex = .*
catch-all = true
#disables the sending of SMS
max-messages = 0
concatenation = true
accepted-smsc = x
get-url =
I need to see the website Kannel administration, but will not let me see, I'm
getting blank screen. I checked the browser settings and no problems with
restrictions, also check that the port was 13,000 not using one. I tried from
another browser on another PC and the problem persists ... can
Check the PDU's, if the concatenation is done by using the sar_* optional
parameters, kannel cannot assemble it. Kannel can only assemble concatenated
messages if concatenation is done using udh.

Afaik (not 100% sure) it's the SMSC that handles how to send the parts to
the ESME. I don't think it's a phone issue.
