Hi,
I have configured kannel to trigger a page on keyword 'm'. But it triggers
the same page on other words starting with m, like more or money, etc. Can
we restrict it to inspect the first letter only?
BBOX:
# Default core group configuration
group = core
admin-port = 13000
admin-password = lookup
status-password = l00kup
admin-deny-ip = *.*.*.*;
admin-allow-ip = 127.0.0.1
smsbox-port = 13001
box-deny-ip = *.*.*.*
box-allow-ip = 127.0.0.1
log-file = /usr/smsc/logs/bbox-info.log
log-level = 1
Yeap. Read User's guide about keyword-regex.

Nikos

I already asked this question but didnt get the solution.
It seems that nobody knows how to help me.
I have esme client connected to kannel through smppbox. In kannel I have http
smsc server.
esme client sends a message which is is routed and sent out through http smsc
inside kannel.
quesiton:
See:
http://phpclasses.chimit.nl/package/1373-PHP-Sends-SMS-messages-via-an-SMPP-server.html
Although generally php is not recommended as a platform of choice,
implementing stateful algorithms like smpp.
Why don't you just use smsbox to connect?

At the moment I am using PEAR Net_SMPP
Hi,
Please do not post the same mail twice.
Read latest User's Guide. There is a special detailed section about modem
initialization with step-by-step instructions.

Hi,
And, yes, I remember answering. So please read your mail and don't reapeat
the same questions.
You have to use
system-type = kannel
to receive DLRs from your http SMSc. Read User's guide about configuring it.
There are plenty of examples in there. You also have to include a dlr-mask
Hi,
Do not use devel for such questions. Besides urlencoding does not belong to
this group anyway. Use a URLdecoder to test it like:

On my previous job we had connections with all the Mexican carriers,
the only things you need to take into account with Movistar is what
they already mentioned:
- ton/npi settings
- use ESM_CLASS_SUBMIT_DEFAULT_SMSC_MODEĀ instead of
ESM_CLASS_SUBMIT_STORE_AND_FORWARD_MODE

On Wed,
I have system-type = generic cause I use non-kannel HTTP API to send messages.
You refer me to the previous email which doesn't have proper explanation.
http response statuses are the following:
status-success-regex = ok
status-permfail-regex = failure
I am not sure that the generic smsc I have
hello,
our provider has given us an api that consists of using soap for
outbound messages and a get request for inbound messages.
I was wondering what the state of the soap smsc at the moment? is it
stable enough to put into production...
thanks,

Well, you will never get a response with system-type = generic. There is no
non-kannel HTTP API, HTTP API is a standard common to everyone. As far as
explanations go, I will reiterate myself, read User's guide.

Alejandro,
Actually, kannel can reuse validity period and automatically issue (perhapse
configurable?) expiration dlr + wipe a message when a message is past that
period by some good value (lets say + 1 day - this should be more than
enough).
In fact we could issue another kind of dlr even -
