Hi guys,
Sorry for reposting but I feel somehow a newbie on this... Can someone share
a light!
I still dont have a clue for the meaning of the 3 values of
inbound/outbound at kannel status page! Why 3 values? Each one specifies
what?
SMS: inbound (0.02,0.00,0.00) msg/sec, outbound
Hi,
They represent 1', 5' and from beginning averages.

Quick question Garth,
I noticed that the message id I store when I send isn't the same one the DLR
comes back with, how do I reconcile this?

Yes. Latest kannel supports SMPP TLV data. UG has some excellent
configuration examples.

A quick google search gets to:
30 - Unknown subscriber
This cause indicates that the subscriber is not registered in the HLR
(i.e. IMSI or directory number is not allocated to a subscriber).

The id you get with the patch is the one created by kannel for its own
process. The one that comes from the smsc is the smsc id. That is why kannel
queries its database for the id/msisdn when receiving an dlr
Thanks for your answer, so you're saying I can change the patch and use the
smsc
id instead or how do I know the message I sent just now has received a DLR and
that the status belongs to the message I sent?

The best way is to add your own unique Id to the dlr-url and have kannel
call that url when a dlr arrives

Hi Alvaro and Nikos,
Many thanks for pointing me the correct way!
I made a few tests about store-size and I was getting allways the same
values, so I made that deduction...
Thanks again

Hi Nikos,
You are talking about the Development Release 1.5?
IS this the correct part of the UG?
http://www.kannel.org/download/1.5.0/userguide-1.5.0/userguide.html#META-DATA
The UG talks about SMPP TLVs, is that going to pass to the DLR ? Or do
I have to assign it to the DLR somehow?
Regards,
The TLVs you define can work for all: MOs, MTs and DLRs.
So if your provider sends TLVs on the DLR just define the TLVs and
then capture them accordingly
