is working I am able to send sms through GSM Modem. I would like to send
sms manually using Kannel Gateway. What changes I am suppose to do in the
smskannel.conf file. And what is the procedure to send sms after

If you are able to broadcast sms from gsm modem then there is no extra
job needed.
Manually means, open browser and hit the send sms url (cgi-bin/sendsms?...)

I restarted the bearer box sms box. Its now running fine.
Now I used 127.0.0.1 instead of smsbox.host.name
But it gives message as *3: Queued for later delivery*
I am able to send message through GSM Modem using minicom.

am not able to figure it out. i would like to set up kannel so that i
will put messages in sqlbox send_sms table, sqlbox will send the
messages to bearerbox which will send it to smsc and then it will
receive from
found what i was missing. i had to specify route to route the messages
to the sqlbox:
