Hi Semion,
Thanks for your email, but that config actually kills the SMSCs:
SMPP[first_smsc]: io_thread: break and shutting down
Thanks

Hi Gerardo,
There's another way: try to restrict each SMSC from accepting the
messages marked with the opposit SMSC's id:
group = smsc
smsc = smpp
smsc-id = first_smsc
denied-smsc-id = second_smsc
#rest of the smsc config
...
group = smsc
smsc = smpp
smsc-id = second_smsc

Hello,
i've read all support-mails for the storage type 'mysql' is not supported
error, and i've tried all the described solutions.
But error still exists.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could help me on this.
I run CentOS 5.6 and i've complied gateway 1.4.3 from source.
./configure
Try to install package like libmysql-devel
Then...
./configure --with-malloc=native
--with-mysql-dir=/usr/include/mysql --with-mysql --prefix=/usr/local/kannel

Hi List,
I'm doing some stress test to my Wavecom FasTrack M1306B with 20 thousands MT.
After sending about 1000 MT there are so many CMS error 512, 513, and 515.
Below is my configuration:
group = smsc
smsc = at
smsc-id = gsm
allowed-smsc-id = gsm
denied-smsc-id = others
modemtype = wavecom
I checked mysql documentation for using DELAYED. It seems like it is
handling the speed on the submitting side of SQLBOX (e.g. submitting data
into SQLBOX). While I am trying to make SQLBOX push the messages more
quickly to bearerbox. Would it serve the same purpose that I am pursuing?
I am using
Any help on this by anyone? I am having a bad time restarting sqlbox again

That's because there is no storage type. It is either store-type or
dlr-storage. Read UG about them.
Since you are going to all the trouble to compile from sources, why don't
you pick latest svn? It is production stable and ~4 yrs more recent than
1.4.3.

Maybe i am wrong, but i have bad experience of non stable versions, so i got
the latest stable one.
If you are talking about conf variable name, i have :
dlr-storage = mysql
storage type is just how error occurs to be understandable. If you mean
something else, exsuse me but i didn't
Thanks Semion, this one works :)

Is

Hi,
While submitting message to SMSC for delivering, which coding scheme would
be most efficient for SMSC? e.g. UTF-8, UCS-2, etc. I need to find the
coding for which SMSC could not have to do a lot of re-work in decoding and
then forwarding the message to the subscriber.

Hamza
No, if the DELAYED option doesn't really make a difference. then a
separate database host probably also really doesn't make a difference.
Try to make a speed test without sqlbox in between. Probably it won't make a
difference and the problem isn't within sqlbox, but elsewhere.

Seems like a memory leak? Will investigate.

(1) Can OpenSMPPBox request for DLR from bearerbox?
(2) Is there any facility or feature in OpenSMPPBox for reporting purpose,
