Hi,
I know that this issue/problem has been discussed before, but i can't get a
grip on if it is a feature or a bug.
What i want to achieve:
* Add msg to send_sms
* The msg is sent
* The SMPP module receives the status report
* The report is sent to the smsbox and the dlr-url invoked.
When isertng in send_sms set the boxc_id filed value to smsbox.

Thanks for your response, here is my conf file

# There is only one core group and it sets all basic settings
# of the bearerbox
Furthermore, don't use the included sqlbox version in 1.5.
Download latest sqlbox from svn trunk.
(This has nothing to do with your previous problem, but you may come up against
other issues with that version)

Looks your problem in the get-url, when you send the reply, you redirect
kannel service to itself, then kannel sends also the reply received from the
HTTP get.
Try adding the following to the *sms-service* group
*max-messages=0*
you might also need to set
*concatenation=true*
Best Regards,
Thanks a lot sleem sb, it is fine now, I just set max-messages = 0 and all
went good. once again thanks alot.

Hi!,
I am trying to send UNICODE sms using SQLBOX.
Please suggest me how to do it.

Hi!
I tried doing that, when cheking the bearerlog it looks like this:
It seems to add the DLR
DLR[internal]: Adding DLR smsc=beepsend, ts=9223372036854775807, src=abergman,
dst=46708768300, mask=1, boxc=smsbox
and then some rows down it says:
DLR[internal]: Looking for DLR smsc=beepsend,
Is there a reason that you use internal dlr-type?
I suggest you to change that.

Hi,
I'm a complete newbie to Kannel and really appreciate help with some
issues. Sorry if these are really basic.
I'm trying to use Kannel to receive incoming SMS' through a GSM modem and
forward them to an application on another server. It will not be sending
any SMS.
- How do I
- See the sms-service group usage to forward incoming SMS to your application.
And yes it is possible to process or manipulate the reply (MT) before sending
back
- SQLBox will do it for you.
And the last, the list archives and user guide will help you much.

No, there is no special reason. So i changed to MySQL and the bearerbox.log now
says:
Looking for DLR smsc=beepsend, ts=92871305633904213, dst=46708768300, type=1
2011-05-17 14:05:06 [5952] [6] DEBUG: sql: SELECT `mask`, `service`, `url`,
`source`, `destination`, `boxc` FROM `dlr` WHERE
Ι don't think that's a problem.
I think that this dlr concerns a message that sent when your storage was
internal, and it can't find the message in database now.
Try to send again.

I can't understand exactly your problem.
Be more specific please.

Hello!
Сommercial system that I use (PRTG), and that sends through the kannel

Greetings to all. I would be very thankfull if i can have an information. I

Hi,
DLRs can take anywhere up to 2 days. They are sent by the mobile's SIM, that
may be powered off. To be sure, send the SMS to your mobile, and when you
receive it in, you should have a DLR within the next 1' or so.
To match DLRs you need to set the correct msg-type-id. Read about it in UG.
Hi,
Yes you should. You are talking about MOs. There is no reason you shouldn't
be able to do it, but I have never tried it. Read about group smsbox-route
in UG.

Nikos

The manual is your friend. Look at group = smscbox route and bear in mind that
the smsbox-id is your system-type that the client connects with...

If sending messages via a gsm modem works but you see nothing in the logs when
receiving a message (with log-level 0) then my bet is that the problem is a
wrong setting of AT+CNMI in the init string.
