This is probably a gcc 4.X issue.
If you have a previous gcc version forgive this message. If not, the most
probably is that because of an error in the configure script a 'wait' symbol
is being defined in config.h (gw-config.h). If that is the case just delete
or comment that line.
On

spanish if you prefer).
Hope it helps,

First byte of UDH should be the udh lenght. In your example you have a UDHL of
0B while the lenght of your header is 06.
Am i missing something ?

Besides, if you can receive any kind of SMPP traffic, the TCP connection IS

Hi Rodrigo,
First of all thank you for your time.
It is very difficult to check if the TCP

and disconnect the ESME if they donĀ“t get an SMS, even if you send

reconnect :(
I hope this may be of help.

Hello,
I am getting a strange behaviour while connected to a SMPP SMSC. Kannel is

it stops sending enquire links and after 6 minutes it complains about not

Hi Mark,
Aparently the config file is right and it seems that bearerbox is up and
running. So I can only guess:
1. You started smsbox before bearerbox (and that's because smsbox could not
connect to bearerbox). You should start bearerbox first.
2. You are starting smsbox in another machine
Usually it is the same port as the sending one. Give it a try.

You need to specify some of the parameters denied-smsc-id / allowed-smsc-id /
preferred-smsc-id at smsc config level. More info in the User's Guide ;-)

That is because kannel makes a transformation to GSM charset and the character

Hi,
I am trying a Nokia 7110 as SMSC. Device is initialized fine but it fails when
sending an SMS. It seems like after sending the PDU and the ^Z the modem
does not respond any more. I tried to send the message manually from a
terminal client and it works fine.
Some idea about the problem ??
Hi Rene,
We have several short numbers available in Telcel (Mexico) network and we
offer a gateway access to third-parties interested in sending or receiving
messages using these numbers.
Prices depend on used numbers and volumes. Please contact me with your
requirements.

Alberto
