Short Code or Long Code

Hi, I am querying a database with users sending keyword to a phone number. Is there anyway i can alias the operator phone number to a short code like(4535) or long code like (78222200) without involving the network operator.

Kannel SMS problem

Invoke kannel from perl script

Hi all, I have my perl script that tests PC's on a LAN for connectivity, if any one pc is not reachable,then i want i to send an SMS alert. Script is working ok, but am stuck, need pointers and clues as to how to call kannel to send the sms out. Thanks in advance Philip

K700i bluetooth connection
