Nevermind, I tested it using the right port (2). So, just as a note for people using the 'smskannel.conf' like me for testing (as explained in the official documentation page): the three steps to test the sms-gateway should be: 1. gw/bearerbox gw/smskannel.conf 2. gw/smsbox
