Rather than placing a call, some carriers have a number you can send an sms
to and they will reply with a balance-notice sms. I'm running a system with
kannel using the Smart carrier in the Philippines. For them you send
?1515 to 214 and they'll send a balance notice text, which is easy
enough

However, even if the modem is idle but queued messages did not went
through and still wait for -I think- some timestamp to be
re=processed.

I'm using latest cvs and have kannel not deleting MO messages after
receiving them. As far as I know, it should issue AT+CNGD=[message
index] after procesing the message; however it is isuing an AT+CNMA
command.
Any ideas why is this happening?
