Hi!
Never did recording, but just:
1. try without recording and make sure that the stream really is relayed
via rtpproxy (tcpdump, ngrep). Your logs only show the initialization of
nathelper module, contacting rtpproxy during startup. It does not show
any call that is relayed.
2. only if
Recently I have rewritten the documentation about using the e/i flag. See

I have some easy doubt about nathelper functions
I guess the problem is sending the SIP requests to the client. Usually
if a client uses TCP or TLS, the address information in the Contact
header is wrong. The proxy should be configured to use the established
TCP/TLS connection (established by the client during registration) for

1. Start with SIP over UDP. only if this works, then
2. try SIP over TCP. If you have done the NAT traversal with
handle_ruri_alias() and add_contact_alias() the UDP config should work
with TCP too.
3. ONLY if SIP over TCP works, start adding TLS support. TLS is very

Hey, thanks for both replies from Daniel and Klaus.
Klaus, will this work on kamailio 1.5.3 the same way?
Daniel, sorry I misstyped. The first flags should be ocfaei and the second
ones ocfaie.
What I meant with the question is:
I receive an invite from public IP; I call force_rtp_proxy(ocfaei);

Hi gentlemen,
I'm having a bit of a hard time developing a bridge for media sessions.
I have a box with 2 interfaces; eth0 has the private IP p.r.i.v and eth1 has
public IP p.u.b.l.
When I receive a message in the private IP I try sending the call to a
public proxy we have (p.u.b.2) using
