hello all,
I have installed opennebula front-end hosts, and deployed ttylinux.
ttylinux works fine.
I also made a ubuntu12.04 server vm, and deploy it by official guide.
It shows running but I cant ssh nor ping it.
Any idea or advise?
PS:I download vmcontext script and configure step by step.

Javier,
Where should the checkpoint be located?
I've checked in /var/lib/one/$VMID, but no checkpoint found.
Only 4 files are located under this path: context.sh deployment.0
transfer.0.prolog transfer.0.stop
transfer.0.stop show:

Hi all,
I'm installing Opennebula 3.6 in CentOS 6.2 with this tutorial :
http://opennebula.org/documentation:archives:rel3.2:ignc

Dear Tuan,
Please always use the corresponding documentation for the version you
are trying to install. In your case, please use
http://opennebula.org/documentation:rel3.6:ignc, if you are going to
try out ONE 3.6.
Also, make sure that both /var/lib/one and /var/log/one are writable
by oneadmin.

The checkpoint should be located at /var/lib/one//datastores/0/5366 in
both the node and the frontend. That is the system datastore. As the

No, this directory is linked to be only at the node's local filesystem

Only the image datastore (/var/lib/one//datastores/1/) is shared.
Main problem is R/W access to the shared filesystem, and that's why we
tried to hold deltas at node's local
Hello Tino,
The version of libvirt is 0.9.8-2ubuntu17.2. It looks like there is a 0.9.13
release from July 2.
It looks like I should be able to build some packages using files here:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libvirt/0.9.13-0ubuntu4
Hopefully I can get to that soon and let you know
Then, if the system will be local you have to change the tm driver
from shared to ssh. Use onedatastore update to do so.

As a side note. This precise configuration was not tested so expect
dragons. The drivers may need to be tweaked but is a good starting
point.

Hi,
No sure if still the case, but ubuntu used to set the network interfaces
as ONBOOT=no per default.
If this is still the case, your interfaces need to up-ed manually.
Can oyu reach the VM via VNC? Is hte interface configured?

Dear Tuan,
Please check the permissions on the /var/lib/one directory. If you
don't have a lot of expertise in sys admin tasks, I suggest you start
with on of the sandboxes [1], or by installing an OpenNebula package
[2], there are packages for the main linux distros.

It looks like the code you're running is not updated. Could you please
check the content of the
/var/lib/one/sunstone/model/OpenNebulaJSON/PoolJSON.rb file?
It should look like this:
-8--
...
require 'OpenNebulaJSON/JSONUtils'
module OpenNebulaJSON
class HostPoolJSON
Thanks for noticing. The image was updated to fix some problems but
the md5 remained the same. Both the xen and kvm have the MD5 updated
now.
The image is compatible with both kvm and xen so it is normal that the
image is the same.
Cheers

Dear Gary,
I am not sure I understand 100% your desired set-up, but if I grasped
it correctly, I think the problem you may found is the images would
only be local to the node that is exporting the NFS share. Otherwise I
think it will work as you expect.

I've been reading through the docs, and have made several templates, but
