Hi, After XML then source files, it's time now for the next step on encoding support: reporting output files. There is a new proposal to unify reporting encoding configuration and change default value to UTF-8: http://docs.codehaus.org/display/MAVEN/Reporting+Encoding+Configuration
The change to UTF-8 as default encoding value for every reporting output should be safe for everybody (better than the mix that we have now when using site+jxr+javadoc+cobertura=Latin1+Latin1+platform+UTF8).
