I have the same issue with the DOCROOT error. Allthough the JSF Kickstart sample App is working. I think it has (in my case) somehow todo with the faces-config.xml file within the trinidad-impl-1.2.1.jar file. In META-INF there is a faces-config.xml. First part of the file : ?xml version=1.0
