ApacheOpenOffice doesn't insist on indents or capitalisation.
Capitalisation for certain words is a setting that can be controlled / set by
the user.
Indents is part of the default paragraph but can be changed by the user.

I have been waiting for years for Open Office (or at least its word processor)
to add decent outlining. I can't seem to get any answer as to whether it is
planned.
Until it is I will have to go on using Word.
