Nowhere in the openoffice download page do I see any option to download
version OOo_3.1.1_Win32Intel_install_en-US.exe that is recommended !! How do I
get that option to appear so I can download it?
Thanks. Mary
OOo 3.1.1 from www.openoffice.org, 64-bit, installed on Fedora 11,
x86_64.
It was working right after I installed it. Now it suddenly won't
launch. From the command line I get:
[...@devil8 ~]$ openoffice.org3 -writer %U - copied and pasted
from the launch menu properties

Hey all,
I've seen a few requests for help with some of the same
suggestive language as was used by Mr. Barrie recently.
I wonder if we have a generalized communication problem, here.
Many people are not previously aware of OpenOffice because of

Kevin,
what is your problem with the org suffix to OpenOffice ?
If someone comes here (on the ml) once in a while asking why they can't
edit docs on openoffice.org, we'll explain politely that it's google
docs they're looking for.
Whatever the reason

PS - along the same lines of this same problem: It seems OO.o will not
display pages at anything less than 20% size. If I could get it down to 10%
or 5% so all pages showed onscreen at once, I might be able to manually drag
pages around to reorder them if no one has any better suggestions.
