Dear sir, I am using version 2.1 of OpenOffice.org. My problem is about Amharic language input. The Window system is win 2000 and the input method is a software called Ge'ez for the Amharic language. The problem is when entering in a certain character that requires typing in 2 characters, then in the page it would come up with 2 characters of which only the latter is correct. That means repeated deleting is needed to get rid of the first character when doing the input. Besides, there are certain characters that cannot be entered at all, no letter is shown after pressing the keys.
Whereas these are fine when typing directly into Publisher or Word. Could you please direct us as to what we need to upload from Open Office to correct this. Thanks. Kind regards Vera
