OpenOffice.org costs absolutely nothing, zero (only your costs of
downloading some 70MB from www.openoffice.org website). However, it goes
without professional support -- the only support is this (and other) email
list and web fora, where users exchange advice between themselves.

If you want to have professional support from Sun, then you buy StarOffice
<http://www.sun.com/software/star/staroffice/get_businesses.jsp> and you
get also some goodies on top (more conversion filters, templates for most
common documents, tools for centralized management on network, and some
other stuff). There is also cheaper version of StarOffice
<http://www.sun.com/software/star/staroffice/get.jsp> ($69.95 for 8 users),
but with very limited support.
