I opened my File in OpenOffice.org instead of Openoffice.odm and that gave me the option of saving the file as a Microsoft WORD document. Thankyou for your help. I haven't yet emailed it to see if it can be opened, but from what you have said, it should be OK. Cheers, Carmel.
