I agree that it as easy as yum install ovzkernel. But watching XEN vs
KVM discussion, one of KVM advantages is that it uses a loadable
module which makes the life easier for users and for distro
maintainers. You need Xen specific kernel but do not need for KVM.

I forgot to say that I like OpenVZ as it is. I really do.
My proposal has the objective to spread OpenVZ use. Think in the
module issue as a candidate for long range goal. I can see
advantages for OpenVZ. Does not mean that it is not good.

a) Huge
b) Changes lots of subsystems
2) It developed for years outside of the mainline kernel which makes it...
