you have to mount the CD drive with the virtuio drivers during the setup
process.
get to the screen to select disks. do a "change cd" and mount the virtio
ISO. then you have to go "have disk" in setup and add the drivers. Once
the drivers are installed, you have to refresh the list before it

Dear list,
I am new in ovirt, and I have a problem, which I can’t solve with google. I am
not able to install windows guests, because they can’t find they disk. I have
already many linux guests running, so generally everything is working fine. I
try with virtio-scsi disks.
What I already

Hi,
We use this one but there are other ones around.

Most common seems to be people taking a snapshot, mounting it, and then dd /
rsync the content away instead of whole VM.
Cheers,

Hi All,
I love oVirt, have been running it for some weeks now. I have read the wiki
page on backups, and have set up an engine backup.
The backing up of VMs is where it gets more tricky. There must be more people
already doing this, but I just would like some script that takes my vm name as

Tried it several months ago, it simply didn't worked.

May be you could try to rebuild it with homebrew or finkproject.
Sure ... I Will... Thanks...
In time... Congrats for excellent work on oVirt 4.2 ... This new version

Restart should not be needed. We perform scsi scan when creating a new

The *dmg *.pkg etc. didn’t work for me too.
So my solution on macOS (10.11) is:
*** Install Homebrew
$ /usr/bin/ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL**
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)"
*** Install virt-viewer
$ brew tap jeffreywildman/homebrew-virt-manager

Hi all,
I had a setup with ovirt 4.2.0 which at some point the engine stopped
responding, due to some split brain issues.
Since was not able to resolve the split brain, I proceeded to redeploy the
engine.
The steps I followed:
1. upgrade servers (yum update)
2. ran ovirt-hosted-engine-cleanup
I use mac to manage Ovirt and I find the best method is to set vnc on VM
and choose no vnc option, this way you can launch right from a web browser
