Is there a standard perl version that the SA team aspires to
and uses as a baseline or some sort?
If so, is it the 5.8.8 or newer or ???
For running on Windows, 5.8.8 is highly recommended. 5.6.1 can work, but
it is rather unstable. Can't really comment on what runs best for other
