Thanks, that really helped. It works fine if I place the file Servlets#application.xml In the CATALINA_HOME/conf/Catalina/localhost/ folder.
I would prefer to place it in the /META-INF/ folder in the application, but Tomcat seems to ignore files not named context.xml in this folder. Any suggestions?
